Your right and that becomes an even bigger problem when your lakes are heavily stocked with all course species that I'd rather avoid.

Agree, hence I keep catching Tench, Bream and the odd crayfish half hour after casting out my rigs to a tight tree line just before dark ready for the early morning feeding spell
Boilies have a place in carp angling for the occasion a bit of sweetcorn, a worm, maggots or lump of motherspride is not quite up to the job

Apologies Smurf for the tropamino comment.
In terms of AA's being used in blends that's not something I've delved into to much, yes I have read about some of it on the internet but my focus has been mainly on singular AA's. No it hasn't always worked out. What I did notice is that if I applied the same singular attracting amino to the base and attractor package my results were much better and I consistently caught.
The thought behind is that they eat what they were initially attracted too if that makes sense.

At a quick glance I've seen some of it but not all. I'll give it a good read later. Thank you

From some reading in old research papers have you tried using extra vitamin C with your baits? It looks like a high Proline content has been shown to work synergistically with vitamin C in the attraction of young carp.
I know getting extra vitamin C into a boiie has issues due to the high solubility and low stability of Ascorbic Acid but a simple bait soak and fresh supplies can get around these issues.
