I got a Trakker RLX Nano chair as I thought they would be good with being able to use it as a "bedchair buddy" or as a low or guest chair, but, despite bringing it fishing it stays in the car usually.
The main problem is, the front legs are only about 12", extend by a max of 3" to make about 15" length and the legs angle forward so that reduces the height to 12". If your bedchair is higher than 12" off the ground which mine usually is due to sloping ground, then your screwed, the chair slopes forward and is uncomfortable and useless. I've just got it out of the car now to get the measurements, it's unusable, my bed chair is 16" high off the ground thanks to the slope.
Why they made 12" legs and then only made 3" extensions, I don't know why. I doubt you could make your own extensions as they have a Groove in so they must have to fit a stud inside the frame. It was probably designed in a factory environment on a perfectly flat floor on a bedchair without its legs extended.
The second issue, as a low chair, they can be comfortable or uncomfortable depending on how much the ground slopes. And if you use it as a fishing chair etc, then getting out of it in a rush is not easy without rolling out of it and then standing up unless your a gymnast.

agreed zack. useless as a bedchair buddy. i bought one for when i cycle to the lake and its good for that as its so light

There are a few chairs out there where the rear legs fold flat. If you take the bungs out of the side bars and carry a couple of steel rods that will extend the side bars just enough to sit across the frame of the bedchair then bobs your uncle. Couple of quid fix to the chair of your choice.

Additionaly to my earlier regarding the Trakker RLX Nano, if you think it makes no difference that the front legs do not touch the ground if your bedchair is to high and the chair should sit level on the bedchair, it does not, the back leg on the chair resting on the bed chair is high enough to still make the chair slope forward on its own.
If you also try to move the chair forward to the edge of the bed to get the legs to reach the ground, that does not work either, it still slopes forewards but you also find that you can feel the side of the bed pressing through the updated seat of the chair, and that to is uncomfortableto even attempt sitting in that position.
One way of making the chair work, is make two wooden blocks of at least 3" for the front legs to rest on. That would give a total of 6" of play for the front chair legs and should suit bed chairs that are high off the ground.
