Harrison Century Freespirit or Daiwa second hand for £450-£600 would do you proud. Would even look at new custom built rods for that price.

Never had that problem with mine. Also if you do buy new Johnson Ross do a 10% discount on sets of 3 FreeSpirit rods.

Get some 3.25 greys aircurve and save some money!

I have spent 0000s on rods over the years and they are the best rods I have had, and probably the cheapest

Was. Not anymore. Seemed to stear back towards daiwa reels as soon as he left though, using the new mag sealed basia. Thinks hes with outlaw pro now

terry recommended the tx2s to me along time before he was with shimano, his words there as good as any sub £200 blank
