I get that, I enjoy learning new skills and there are so many genres that need different skills. I'll probably never feel I've mastered any genre because I can't stick with one long enough.
My current obsession came about because I bottled out of buying a used fuji medium format for a couple of shots I've had in mind for ages, full frame wouldn't cut it and my mft kit wouldn't even get close. or so I thought.
I'm itching to try the brenzier method on a catch shot now
I'm gonna have to upgrade the laptop tho, it was already struggling with olympus hi-res files, I expect to see it smoking working on 150+mp composite images
Video ain't really my thing but I've got an idea I want to realise, audio is proving a bit of a problem without throwing money at it

After seeing this I've realised after advice on here that I've hardly used my mk2, I've just got it out to charge the battery,have a play with the intervalometer,I've set it on 999 images,5 seconds apart and just stop once I've got enough shots stop the intervalometer. I'm shooting in auto with face recognition off.

If you want maximum blur then generally you'll want the long end of the zoom range, aperture as wide as it'll go, as much distance between you and the background as possible and frame it as tight as you dare. Keep practicing with it tho, you might prefer the look of a slightly wider shot
