Good post, absolutely bang on 👍

For days only my kit consists of Nash 3 rod tip top connect which is 2 fishing rods made up and a spod rod with the net strapped to it with the 3 velcro straps, then 1 fox 17 litre square bucket the bottom 2/3rds is a few kilos of bait a small maggot box of stick mix and a tub of pop-ups and wafters with enough room for a catty, then I have the three compartment tray in the top with my end tackle all in (Sit on bucket with bucket cushion) then zip style unhooking mat with scales, carp care, sticks/alarms a flask and sandwich box in it, can all be carried any amount of distance and takes minutes to move, if the weather looks atrocious I will take a small match style umbrella other than that a good set of waterproofs that I will already be wearing.

I agree with you mate. I've been doing mostly day sessions the last 5 years. I have to think alot harder on how to get a bite and look for any edge over the other lads I can find.

Rule 1 make sure you fish on the right lakes. Rules 2, 3,4 and 5 are the same.
