Too right
In fact my two club waters are natural and overgrown.
But with a combination of side casting, or a gap in the overhang or standing on a log or crouching down etc
Ive never avoided a swim just because im using my 12 foot rods.
I do have two little snapped tip Dwarf rods for when cycling, I use them in the same places that
I use my 12 footers. I also have 13 and even a 15 foot float rod lol

I fished a "modern" fishery in France last year.
The swim I ended up in, and had my best results from would have been nigh on impossible to fish with 12 footers, bearing in mind the overhanging branches.
Yep, I could have knelt down to cast, no problem.
But at my age, getting down isn't the problem, it's getting back up again.

Just back from a day session, how people can break their dwarf rod i don't understand, i threw them hard today and was able to hit 113 yard.
Many may have a bad production or there was something wrong with the casting technique I don't know, but I do know I can throw mine very hard without losing confidence
But i gonne sell them
Prefer 12ft rods or maby anhoter 10ft but with a longer hande, the short handle on the Dwarfs feels a bit childish to me.

I agree with the childish bit. Mine were bought for my kid when he was 10 .
Once again mate, most people that I have read about had the tips break when NOT casting.

I've snapped 4 tips sections of the 10ft 3lb dwarfs now and they have now gone into retirement and replaced with some other rods. I've only done 4 as i got tip sections for pretty much nothing...now i'm out of them they can go!
All 5 were done when retrieving rods from distance in weed on massive french reservoirs.
When getting to the leader not which is full of weed and trying to free that up, the rod pulls at a weird angle and 'bang' everytime it has done it.
Now....My mate has sonik and another one the pace compacts and they have exactly the same issue as me with the weed and leader knots but no issues with rods snapping...The scope's 'allegedly' also have the same issue but i haven;t seen this and wont pay that money to test it!
I've got several photos to show how easy the dwarfs snap....good general rod, crap in a boat for fishing in weed.
PS: i got the dwarfs at trade and the tip sections for near on nothing so i'm not bothered, just a warning, if you want to use them for that type of fishing... They wont last.
