I get the impression BAF are a trustworthy company would that be right.

It does surprise me, given the widespread use of zigs and bright singles that no one seems to consider the visual attraction of those shimmering beads of oil rising to the surface

I think they reflect or refract the full spectrum of light, very visible when I've filmed it.

One thing that I have become wary of when using oils is the fact that when you glug your bait in an oil before casting out. How long does that coating of oil last on your bait and can the flavours and attractants etc permeate through the coating of oil. Especially in cold water when the oil could thicken. Basically, if you glug your yellow pineapple popup in hemp oil, if the flavour and attractant cannot leach out, your just going to be fishing with a yellow hemp oil smelling popup until all that coating of oil disapates if it does. It may appear to, but that could be caused by winding it in washing it off. Maybe that coating if oil is lost when the lead and bait hits the waters surface and sinks to the bottom, but even if that happens, then it's pointless glugging in the first place.

For about a couple of years I have planned on glugging a bait in oil, drop it in a jar and see what happens. If I see the dye leach out or smell the popup when I remove the jar lid, then I know the oil has not created a barrier.

Mix the oil in with a good hydro, then use as you wish. Acts as a carrier this way
