I have a set of 2.5lb Torrix and yes they are absolute superb light blanks easily manage 120 yards with a 2 1/4 ounce lead and a ss2600 and 12lb distance line and manage to put a PVA messed bag 2 ounce and lead 60 yards
Super soft in my opinion yet can control 30 plus fish with ease superb fun and an absolute must.
Didn't Mary (60lb carp) get caught by a German lad using them?
I use mine with a set of linear Xs now and they are a delight.
