Yeah ok they are lightweight (nylon) and that's the appeal to me cos I like to keep weight of everything down to a bare minimum. Just use mine on a lake for casting and returning the odd fish and they're fine for that. Only drawback is you can't leave em free standing ready to step into like the rubber waders to land a fish. Whenever I've needed to go in to land one I just go in wearing my shorts or trousers. Thankfully I catch next to nothing in winter!

That's exactly why I bought them too, nice and light, probably a third of the weight of my vass ones, but ultimately for what I mainly use them for they weren't up to it. As for getting them on quickly, I made some stiffeners from some rigid 125mm plastic ducting I had left over (around £2 from toolstation) if you do it right you don't notice them when you wear them but they hold the boot open so you just step in

That particular pipe was good as its thin and quite easy to manipulate if you heat it with a kettle, I just cut scoops for heel and toes and heated the sides to flatten them, then folded a small section to sit under the innersole so there were no sharp edges putting pressure anywhere. Sandpaper leaves it pretty rough so I rounded the edges with a sharp Stanley blade.

So what would you guys recommend Wader wise for ease of getting on fast without any faffing about pulling here there and everywhere?
Reason i ask is I am disabled (spinal cord injury) have lower limb complete numbness although I can walk with a stick and still fish/sessions without any real issues apart from cant really push a barrow anymore so disabled swims for me.
But I had a real issue recently where I was on a platform and needed to get my prologic lightweight waders on as a fish had kited round some reeds and I had to put the rod down and seemed to take me forever to get them on I really struggled with my disability anyway managed to do it and get the fish in, but going forward I need to be able to do it quicker if I can.
any recommendations
