You have to pack every reel seat with tape (use masking tape)they dont come in different diameters its easy but use a two part epoxy on your reel seats, i use u 40 rod bond and have for years never had a problem , I would be surprised if you get the seat off with heat from a hairdryer though , you would,nt get one of mine off ! I use a dremel and angle it down the length of reel seat , start in the middle and do a centimetre then pliers to snap it off , just go slowly , you would be surprised what i have found under reel seats.any probs drop me a pm.

Are you sure the reel seats don't come in different diameters Jeff?
I've got two different sized fuji reel seats sat here now.
Just checked them and one is 18mm internal diameter and the other is 20mm.

Ha ha ,Sorry just read it back !! I meant the reel seats on the scopes are all the same .Of course you are right 16mm fuji is 16mm internal diameter 18mm ,20,22.so on thats why you have to be careful and make sure your reels fit rod before you buy or you will end up buying new reels also as alot have done on here.
