Glad I'm not the only one paranoid about this. I normally stash any valuables at the back of the brolly. Also a bungee cord around the borrow and the head end leg of the bed chair.

Paint it pink & order a Badger vinyl logo of eBay & nobody will touch it then!!!!!

I take the handles off and try and leave it in site. I always sleep with one of the handles in the sleeping bag just incase anything was to happen it's in easy reach!

I've had 2 movement detectors for some 25 years still have an old set that I'll pass to a friend once we get allowed out again.

I've been using the smart alarms for the last 4 years absolutely superb.

chain to a tree, if no trees next to you, buy one of them big dog spikes that you screw in to the ground, put barrow over it and chain it up, they will struggle to unscrew that with a barrow chained to it, then get one of them movement alarms on the barrow.

just use a **** barrow..

just buy a **** barrow they wont even want it for free when matey next door has a top of the range one

FFS .... If your fishing a venue that this is a consideration

I normally keep 1 barrow handle in the brolly with me just in case just makes it harder for them to pinch the barra lol not as I fish any where I'd think any tea leafs where about but you Neva no and if they make of with a 1 handed barra I'm shire id here them and I can crack them with the handle in the brolly simples

I take the handle off and put under my bedchair and put it between myself and the lake so that I can see part of it whilst laying on the bedchair . Probably over the top as I've never had a problem .

Nor me just like traveling lite weight and make me have a better night sleep end of the day somebody roaming about after dark ain't up to no bud so they we'd get the barra handle then ask why they where there lol

I have a bike alarm on the barrow as I sometimes leave stuff under cover on it and would be gutted if I woke up and stuff was gone. Alarm was only £10 ish on eBay and works Great. Although it's never gone off in anger so I hope it works great.

I'm not going to lie but I feel a bit uneasy with this thread and the fact people have to even consider this whilst fishing. I personally don't use a barrow, but if it did, it like to think it would still be there in the morning when I woke up.

Haven't fished circuit waters for years now so maybe it's just me and I'm out of touch lol. For those that do have to consider this when they go out, well I feel for you guys.
Having said that a couple of places I've fished abroad that where a bit sketchy, but never really had any issues back home.
