RIP Bob.
I will always remember getting a slapped hand for suggesting improvements to the Amazon Rain Forest of a delivery note that Richworth would supply to the shops no matter how many or how few products were ordered. Fortunately Mainline continue the tradition albeit with the modern twist of having actual product codes in it too.

I think Bob supplied financial backing for Richworth when it was first set up. Clive and Malcolm ran the show, I dont think he took an active role until he took the business over at a later date. I first met him on Painshill in the very early eighties when it was a derelict forgotten park. Bob was on the committee of the Cobham club and was always in the company of Albert and would often fish there when they were off rota at Savay
Bob was always very helpful to a novice like me. he would show me some of the secret rigs of the day. He was a really nice bloke.
