Ive got some 9ft Daiwa Powermesh Stalkers in 2.75 with 30mm butt ring. Bought for my lad but using them more and more myself. Decided to buy a third and it seems they've superceded my model and guess what they've changed on the new one
managed to find an old one thankfully

I had a set of 10ft rods recently with 50mm butts and hated them. Made them far more awkward to pack away plus I was getting regular frap ups. I've used various lines over the years on 40 and 30 mm butt rings and never once had a frap up other than 1 time trying a braided mainline.
My 2 mainlines of choice which are fox exocet and syncro were both the same. Switched to rods with 40s on now. Same lines on my reels, not had a problem since.

Who the **** has designed those rods ? 50mm guide ffs , would,nt have them on my 13ft rods never mind 10ft !!!!

Does anybody have these rods? I really like the look of them. Seem to have a better action than Scope's too.
