My set has packed up, it started in the heat a couple of weeks back when one dongle started missing beeps, maybe registering one in 5 from the alarm. Bought new batteries for the dongles, re paired everything, worked fine at home Thursday but all dead on Friday at the lake, receiver turns on but won't pick anything up from the dongles, even in pairing mode. Cleaned and checked all terminals etc

Any ideas?

So I opened the receiver up and gave it a clean (neutralised the battery leakage and cleaned with isopropyl) left it a few days and still dead.
Then last night I noticed the light from the alarm was still on, on picking it up the receiver which was still on registered a beep, its now working fine

I'm tempted to put a hairdryer on it and see if it works when it's warmer

I had dongles and a receiver for my Neville alarms and had the same problem, recently I sent them away with the alarms to get the alarms upgraded. They tested it all and found the receiver was beyond repair, so if you've managed to rescue the receiver you've had a result.

It'll be a while before I trust it again, if I have to have sound on the heads it kind of defeats the purpose.

I'll heat it up later and see what happens, if it stops working I can then guess something is expanding and breaking a contact somewhere I can possibly fix with solder.
I did message dalectronics but didn't get a reply. Now I know the dongles are working I can just get a new receiver if I can't fix it.
I was looking at some new delkims but I love the simplicity and versatility of my evs and this kit
