Can't comment on the whole net system but have used the 3k handle on my project net whilst awaiting a different handle. Very stiff handle with virtually no flex (stiffer than the bulldog handle in my opinion) and nice grip sections on both end.

really strange as everyone you speak to who had the bulldog net thinks it was great and very stiff and fantastically light apart from stuart.The reason i find it strange is i dont see how he can claim his was floppy because it isnt .I still have mine from about 10 years ago its still fantastic just a bit of a pain undoing sometimes.Going to buy another for the only reason i need 2 .Will let you know what i think richard as ordering one now

Hated my mk 2 bulldog when i 1st got because i didn't like taking it apart but now I am use to takeing it apart i love it best net i have had very rigid and very light

I have a mk2 bulldog - very nice net but as said a little awkward to seperate apart. I've never thought it was floppy though.

I've been trying to make the lightest net I can out of individual components and bought this handle to use whilst awaiting a custom jobby from defiant. Although it was only supposed to be a temp substitute I'm really impressed with it and will probably keep it as a spare.
