Abit of a old thread this now but just let you know l stuck at it for nearly all my fishing slack lines and the smallest lead l could get away and can't see me changing get screaming runs and don't have to worry about them picking one of my other lines up when playing them in, still using fluorocarbon tiger line 16lb but if anyone knows a better fluorocarbon for this l'm willing to give it a try.
Anyway slacklines and stay safe

I've swapped over to the Berkley connect CF600, fluorocarbon, very supple and well behaved, plus cheaper too.

The vast majority of my fishing is exactly like this although I use a fluro leader with mono mainline.
I've never had an issue with slack lines with mono. A small sinker on the main line helps to pin it down.
I use Katran Synapse in 18lb/0.33 and 22lb/0.37 and it sinks amazingly well for a mono and is tough as anything for its diameter.
I had my pb common and mirror last year with this set up and landed cats to over 70lb.
