I'd say it's unenforceable and inevitable we follow the US eventually.
Probably a generational shift though. I'm not throwing stereotypes about by saying it, but I'm amazed blm hasn't touched on it. Somebody will exploit this at some point. We're letting kids dictate and then reassign their gender before they can buy a kitchen knife in Tesco while pushing processed carcinogenic garbage food to them but an adult can't consume a plant... ffs they'll be telling me next I can't leave the house

By decriminalising it do they mean you will be able to buy it from shops, if so will the stuff be strong enough to satisfy the user? if not they'd still be an illegal market. Would the legal stuff be cheaper once taxes are applied.
Or will they let things carry on as it is now but won't be a criminal offence? If so that won't reduce gang crimes.
Weed use can have detrimental effects to some people's mental health, how will they protected. I know they are not protected now, but it's different when you legalise it.
Lots of questions and I'm not sure of the answers, all I know is the stuff stinks horribly and the smell can carry some distance, that includes when they grind it, let alone smoke it.

I'd be ok with them legalising it in London. The place is smelly anyway and the locals could do with being a bit more chilled out. Think of the boost to the snack economy too....

None in the slightest.This is their usual form,When the DUP don't get their way out come the big drums and flags,rattle on that the union is under threat and what you seen on the news is the result. Most of the people arrested are very young,as young as 12,must be a very angry smart kid to understand what is going on.

Like I said seems pretty organised. If the customs border would have been on the island of Ireland instead of in the Irish sea, (as brexiteers promised it would be, no partition of the UK). Would the same age rioters be getting arrested in West Belfast? Someone was always getting shafted, Johnson chose the Unionists.

There's already a killing being made, only unregulated and untaxed; and jest as you may, but the ‘snack economy' in the Netherlands makes a killing. You can't scratch your left nut in Amsterdam without somebody charging you €20, for 50 you can even have them scratched... for 20 mins

I don't know about snacks, but you can get certain soft drinks delivered at all hours, at least that's what I think my neighbour meant when complaining around a year ago that he could call up for coke at 4 am and have it delivered in half an hour but he couldn't get bog roll or tinned tomatoes for love nor money
