1. Let's say he's played it safe. They say he's won everything but he hasn't won a winners medal for the Premier League, the hardest and best league in the world.

Exactly, Argie players just didn't get booked. It's been a theme all the way through. Messi seems completely immune to any form of booking even the hand ball against Holland. Diving, play acting, getting other players booked, harassing the ref, fouls on the blind side of the ref, all typical Argie stuff. Yet, you all turn a blind eye because of Messi.
There is no doubt he is a fantastic player, but drugs made him the player he is, he wouldn't have done anything without them.
Ronaldo maybe a mardarse but at least he's clean!

I didn't say he was 'on' any drug. When he arrived at Barcelona he was very small, they new they had an exceptional talent on their hands. So they pumped him full of growth hormones to make him the size he is. Apparently all legal and above board, cough cough.
Great player that he is, he's not the real deal as he has been enhanced.

Don't believe the hype. I love the premier league but just because Messi never played in it doesn't diminish his achievements. Same with Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Beckenbauer, Maldini, the real Ronaldo
Sure la liga has Almeria, but the premier league has Everton so....

Did the growth drug help with his movement,vision,passing and how he takes players on with ease.Messi was already doing that against kids twice his age,he is a very good role model on and off the pitch can that be said about Ronaldo,Ronaldo has had to work at it,Messi is just naturally gifted and has won something Ronaldo never will,he also is loved by his fellow professionals.Most clubs Ronaldo has left they are glad to see the back of him,hence why no team want him now

Yes loads of great players but to be crowned the greatest player of all time you need to prove it by playing in toughest league in my opinion.

Bah - the 'toughest' league
In that case you probably need to look at someone playing in the Scots second division then. Sloping pitches that thaw out for about five games in May and wind that turns your blood blue.

He was getting those injections BEFORE he went to Barca...they just carried on paying for his treatment as his family were struggling to pay .
