Hi mate

Hmmm, interesting. The reason me and mate have booked dl5 in April is for the combination of cats and carp...... Not super impressed that they are removing the cats then.....

I was informed that cats captured in the other lakes were being moved to dl5 Maybe I have misunderstood

Oh well, am sure we will have a great time anyway

Hi

Just a quick question regarding the food they sell in addition to the breakfast and dinner which I have understood are more than ample.

Does the shop sell sandwiches or pies and that sort of thing or do I have to take a weeks worth of lunch and snack stuff with me from uk? Do they sell fresh milk also?

to be honest, i have never needed anything apart from drinks and a few biscuits etc the meals are plentiful and the only work is winding in the carp!

Hi guys/girls,

Heading off to DL2 this Friday for my first French trip!

Came out 14th in the draw so not the best. Any advice regarding swim choice?

Any any general advice about this lake from any of you guys who have fished it before would be greatly recieved!

Thanks

Travel very light and move into swims where you see fish or where others are catching.......

May upset the anglers that you jump in between but it certainly brings the best results.......

Jump into the biggest gap on either bank away from the pressure.

Unfortunately I'm not traveling light at all!!

However I have been told by 2 people who have been before that you're allowed to just take a rod or two and fish from a different swim without having to pack up and move all your gear? Was thinking of setting up in a swim away from all the angling pressure and then during the day time just grabbing a couple of rods and fish from a different swim maybe closer to the fish?

Thanks again
