Not heard about any of that? My X was out in them big winds last year and it didn't budge. The only issues I've seen are when people haven't checked to see if they are twisted which tightens the fabric too much and then they try to force it.

I take a lot of what I read with a pinch of salt mate as there are some utter buffoons out there. No doubt there will be some issues as there always are with any product. I was that impressed with my X that I bought the Lite for short trips and better weather😎

Seen it twice myself, both were on XD's. Luckily they just popped 1 of the plastic grommets on the front of 1 of the tension bars. I actually think this may be a built in safety feature to prevent further damage?

I've had mine since they were first released and it's hands down the best bivvy I have a owned. Absolutely no issues with the whatsoever. Slightly heavier than my tempest but the build and quality is second to none. A big 👍

I get that as it took me three attempts to get a decent tempest v2 bivvy but my Aqua is spot on first time
