The first lock down did as a whole work its only because they relaxed the rules that things went t#ts up, and largely the public are to blame, for eg my wife's entire family all currently have covid just because her aunty didn't follow guidelines and visited her parents when she had a cough and didn't tell anyone luckily my house hold did follow the guidelines and didn't come into contact with any of them over Christmas or we'd probably have it aswell. The fault of their infection lies solely with my wife's aunty no one else's.

According to some they dont work, apart from nearly all the worlds governments have taken this approach by listening to some very experienced, clever people, but matey here on carp forum reckons they are wrong

The purpose of the lock down is to reduce pressure on the NHS and slow the spread, this it achieved. But seeing as your such an expert how about you tell everyone how you'd solve the pandemic cos we're all ears.
