I hope you're right but I reckon it will be longer as people aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing.

My cousin is working on a big site in London. Even though he's self employed he told me three days ago he'd like the site shut down. He said no one was taking any notice of the distancing rules, he'd seen guys spitting on the floor and he reckoned half the blokes on his site never wash their hands even after using the loo, then go into the canteen at break time. I wouldn't want to be on a tube train with them on a normal day, let alone during a pandemic. Couple that with the fact that loads of them pile into the same cars to get to site cos parking is at a premium and you see why it's a disaster waiting to happen.
There was a guy on the radio this morning apparently who called in to say he had it, but was still travelling to work on the tube to his building job. They should hunt that ****er down and lock him up. The sooner they shut down all non essential businesses the better. Not just sites, but all factories that ain't making essential goods. My mate told me today one of his friends is still going to the factory where he's employed, they make TV cables, how the **** is that an essential business?
This will get very much worse and go on very much longer unless these morons are simply forced to stay at home. I'm self employed. I'm losing money every day but I'm not gonna take the piss that's for sure.

In fact I'd go a stage further and say we should require a permit to travel. Like they've done in Italy and France if people won't respect the rules.
A 21 year old girl with no medical conditions died from it today. A 35 year old guy as well apparently. When are these thick as **** people gonna wise up and take some notice.

Chances are the construction workers like most people will get over this virus, the problem is they can pass it onto others and some of them might die. You will never know if you have done this but can you live with a clear conscience?
