I'm having the exact same issues with the clips for skull cap, messages trakker but waiting on a response, also doesn't align correctly

The only way to get the clips to fit on the 100T is fit the clips on the thinner part of the female pole slightly tighten them up and then push them onto the fatter part of the female section . I even got trakker to send me a set of the skull cap clips for the tempest v2 xl bivvy as the poles on that model are slightly thicker and they were to big on the tempest 100T even when fully tightened it seems from speaking to Gary in trakker spares department he thinks they have prehaps used a thick paint coating on the 100T model poles

Anyone know what the correct size Quick sticks to get for the 100T?

I'd say you want 48 inch storm poles

All I did was put it over the top over the elastic slid the clips up to the top section/fatter section yeah was tight but could do it then squeezed them tightly it then did them up? Worked fine yes u had to put a bit of pressure on them but wasn't that bad and had all of them done in no time all line up and my skull cap fits fine used it last weekend fine also. I have photos aswell from the day I done it aswell to show I did it and it fits fine if someone wants to tell me how to put them up on here I will do it to show you guys

Their must be a batch of the new tempest 100T with either slightly fatter poles or to much paint on the poles as on my 100T their was no hope in hell of tightened the nut and bolt up to start with on the fatter part of the female section the bolt wouldn't even reach the nut and couldn't squeeze the clip together it had to be done on the thinner section of the pole then pushed onto the fatter part of the female section .

Thanks, went for the 48" Quicksticks, perfect, just fit into the bag.

Good QC on these brand new bivvies then......some clips fit, some don't......

Hi Anton, we sent your question over to our shelters manager, who told us this:

The tempest 100 uses the 16mm poles so it's the small clips he requires. It looks to me like it's sat on the bore corrected section of the (where it's widened to accept the male part of the pole) if he moves it up past the shoulder it should fit better.

Well got round to finally using mine this weekend for a 48hr very pleased with if, better head room and you lot was right the skull cap helped a lot with the condensation. Kept the door shut through the night and was hardly any condensation at all was very pleased with it tbh

I am a big fan of the skull cap on bivvies ever since my Pioneer days I never took it off that and I never take it of my Tempest mk1 bivvy either helps with the heat in summer and condensation in winter

Yeah first time I've used one normally I use a overwrap but I was very impressed with this tbh. Glad I listened to you mate and got it, plenty of head in it aswell also the door height felt very good and I'm 6ft 3 so should be fine for you 👍

Also anyone worried about the height and strong winds don't be, I was out this weekend with some very strong winds and gusts coming right at me and it didn't budge a inch very very sturdy

I heard of someone else that was out in the big winds we had recently and he said initially he was really scared and thought of packing up but it was rock solid he is over the moon with it too he said its given him massive confidence in it
but TBH I think eventually when funds allow I will probably go with the Quest version same sort of specs and size but loads cheaper
