Apparently there is a sworn statement declaration, I didn't know about it when I went 3 weeks ago and was never asked I'll probably take one on my next trip at the end of the month.

Did you do it electronically? If you did then there shouldn't be any need to show it?

When I came back from Spain a few weeks ago (by plane) and had filled the form in online before my return, I was still stopped as was everybody else on my flight, I had to show a copy of my completed form, not sure how it works for ferries and Eurotunnel?

I don't know this as fact but my guess is if you've done an online form then they know and so there's a good chance they won't ask to see it at border control.

Has anyone personally on here not done the online form or a paper form and then gone through without question?
I hope not.

Yes. One of my group of anglers did. Didn't do the form. Waved through at French customs. UK customs stopped their van and the woman said "oh are you fishermen?" She then just waved them off. So back home now, no worries, back to work.

It's youngsters that are fuelling the rise in Covid numbers in the UK. We have rapidly rising numbers of Covid cases but thankfully at the moment the numbers of hospital admissions isn't rising rapidly. This is expected to lead to older groups catching it and deaths rising again as we are seeing in the EU. We can thank the Covidiots that are bored of following the rules......

Ministers have singled out young people in particular for not following social-distancing rules.

England's chief medical officer, Prof Chris Whitty, said Covid-19 rates are now rising, especially amongst people aged between the ages of 17 and 29.

He warned that if people stopped social distancing then "Covid comes back".

On Monday Mr Hancock warned the UK could see a second spike in coronavirus cases if young people did not follow the rules.

His comments were echoed by Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick, who said there was a particular responsibility on younger people to follow government guidelines on Covid-19, so that infection rates would not spike again.

"We have to keep hammering the message home. Of course the people in those age categories are unlikely to become extremely unwell as a result of having the virus.

"But they are able to pass it on to others," he said.

The government have to blame the younger generation as the older generation are either dead, banged up in care homes, in ICUs or hospital. Once they get over blaming the 17 to 22s it'll be the kids at school. They'll always find someone to blame. Just like they are now blaming the problem of testing capacity on too many people trying to get a test who shouldn't......after telling all and sundry we need testing, testing, testing to get on top of things.

Good to see you've done your homework on this.

Their clearly fudging the numbers to put the focus of blame elsewhere.
Are you sure?

This action cannot be undone.

Yes, continue
