If anyone is considering gettting the overwrap I'd buy it as both models of the bloxx are now discontinued from what jrc told me

Dam it I was hoping to get one around march time next year guess that wont be happening now, but if it's being discontinued I guess they might be releasing a new model possibly?.

If anyone wants to buy the overwrap; my dealer has the wraps in stock. Only thing is you have to buy from the Netherlands. It's about 135 euro's now.

Didn't use my wrap last week. Probably should have done...
What i can say is both my 'utility tent' (Chub RS+ bivvy) and my Bloxx Compact stood up to 55mph+ winds and driving rain admirably last week!! Which was a relief

so did a week in france last week in my compact, i dont have the wrap. stood upt oeverything that was asked of it. wind rain sun etc. it gets quite a lot of condensation, i would say it suffers worse than my supabrolley did for this. But it is single skinned at the end of the day. thumbs up from me
I'm looking to buy a bloxx bivvy , and after reading this thread I think I've made the right decision. One question , I have the Fox Flatliter MK2 Standard .... Will it Fit? Please help

i have a compact bloxx bivvy with the compact flatliter and it fits no problem. the standard fox flatliter i think is about 10cm longer so would still fit, so if youre after a normal size bloxx i cant see it not fitting.

The standard flatliter fits in the compact but it is close to the ends of the bivvy . I had the compact version but sold it to foxy because I wanted a bit more room and purchased the bigger size bloxx bivvy which is longer in size so the bedchair is not as close to the ends of the bivvy . All depends if you want more space

Thanks mate , to be fair I'm stuck on 3 different bivvys/brollys. I'm currently using the armo MK2 but I need something taller , so obviously been looking at the bloxx and the fox supa60 and possibly the avid hq MK2 .. Just weighing up the pro's and cons of each

I'm using the overwrap for the first time today on my bloxx bivvy can anyone that has the overwrap does yours have pegging points in the midddle of the 4 panels by this I mean the 2 sides one and 2 rear ones as mine doesn't have none in the middle just at the ends and the material just flaps about it seems jrc have in their wisdom they have decided not to add them on my one which is stupid as it's not pulling the over wrap material away from the main bivvy lower down looks like I'll have to get army andy to add some

Just opened mine up, it's the same. Is there no way of getting it tight just by repositioning the pegs?

Nope tried mine don't make any difference he only quoted me £12 to add the 4 extra pegged get points andy is on here user name carpy0600 his got a website also www.armyandybivvyrepairs.co.uk . His not taking anymore work on after the 9th of November till his back from his holiday as his away from around the 17th for nearly 2 weeks . He normally quotes 7 to 10 days but he won't take him probably anymore than 20 minutes to do . I'm giving my overwrap to one of his mate tomorrow so he can sort it for me before he goes away
