Glad I read this as was about to buy one! I do t see how the zip cover at the back is waterproof as doesn't Velcro down? Bit of wind and rain it will surely flap about and come through the zip? I think I'll wait for you lot to field test and get a mark 2 lol

I used mine on a 48 hour session the second night a storm it rained ALL NIGHT and for 2 hours between 02.00 and 04.00 it was proper torrential I used the groundsheet so if ANY water had come in
it would be easily seen it was 100% perfect and rock solid in the winds
I could not be more pleased with the way it performed in challenging conditions
the only negative point ((for me ))would be its a little lower than the 50" MHR on its highest setting it replaced
Barry (Secret Agent ) must have his replacement by now but hasn't posted how he has got on with it ???

My first one leaked, first night under it was a nightmare, leaked from everywhere:
The ebay seller sent me a replacement immediately and couldnt have been more helpful. Strangely it didnt rain properly for a good few weeks so I couldnt test it out. Then it rained and I got wet. Again.
This time the seller refunded me in full no questions asked, Neil at Ludlow Tackle was most helpful on both occasions and is a top man.
As I have no other shelters I had no choice but to carry on using one so chucked a can of Fabsil at it which improved it slightly but the next time I used it this happened.
I see other people are having no issues with theirs but all in all I'm not overly impressed which is a shame as apart from the getting wet bit it's everything I want in a shelter
I have since replaced it with a Sonik AXS shelter but havent been able to use it yet.
