Hi all.

Have done some searches but wanted to see if anyone had recent real world user feedback on the duralite sleep system? Considering looking for a slightly larger bed with more comfort than my current compact ones (old rugby injuries coming through with age!).

Duralite is the only one I am considering at the moment. i dont want memory foam, and i don't want a fleecy mattress either. I also dont want anything much bigger than the duralite.

Any one who has used it - would welcome any feedback on it.

I had it and really liked it at first,I just started to find it uncomfortable and it felt small and struggled to move about in it.It just was not for me

Check Solar Ch08 or the Sp with a decent sleeping bag, a bit heavier but also better build quality then the Duralite imo

I have tested around 7 bedchairs/sleeping systems, including the Duralite the mattress did indeed feel good, but the rest I found less, no lock legs and the store told me it will sag after a while

I've got it and can't fault it, been superb for me for the last 12 months. I'm 6ft and 18st and it's a good size, plus is light as anything else so easy to lug around.

Had a look at the RLX and a couple of others before settling on the Duralite and never looked back

Yeah I've got one. Prob not as comfortable as the mk11 flatliter I had but good enough.

I recently purchased one done 8 nights on it so far and cant fault it. Its light but comfy and the 3 season bag kept me warm over winter (November onwards)

I've got one, the 3 season sleep system, its very warm and comfortable and was a absolute bargain, the camlock legs at the top and bottom are a bit naff at times if you've not quite got the foot flat and pressure on it it can slip, however for the price and especially the weight I can not fault it, I've used it to minus 5 with no issues for single nighters and when I did 2 or 3 nights in low temps I added the gardner cover.

it looks made to last but time will tell, the only thing i would consider in its place is either the aqua atom system however the self inflating mattress element of that put me off as I use a bed chair buddy quite often, or the nash indulgence 4 season compact.

I rate it tho very highly and would recommend the duralite.

Solar CH08 If you can find one in a shop be sure to check it out, both the Sp and Ch 08 are of a higher level than the Duralite, they are in the same price range and the size is similar, the Ch08 weighs only 500 grams more but is 100% worth it compared to the Duralite

I went from the original flatliter system to the duralite

Its obviously not as big as the flatliter and the only way i really feel that is when i try to roll over during the night, there just isnt as much space in the bag but its not to a point where i struggle.

In terms of weight its in a different class and i really notice the difference on long barrow pushes.

I did a couple of nights when i first got it in the still warm ish weather last year and found it comfy enough, but when i added my SIM as we got into winter it totally transformed it, so i havent taken it back out for the summer

I'm 6' 4" tall will the Duralite be long enough for me anyone?

Doubtful I'm 5,9 and I can stretch out with 4 inches spare

I'd say definately not, I'm 5-11 and i wouldn't want it any smaller personally

Is this with the 5 season bag warm in the winter? How does it compare to say (sleeping bag) to the fox ventec (which Iv heard is proper toasty)
