Im going to bluebell for the first time in a couple of weeks. I see there is a cafe van on site but when is he open from if anybody knows. Also can you get take aways delivered there. Any help would be appreciated before i raid tescos. Thanks. Steve.

If you're thinking of going once night fishing is allowed it will be RAMMED, as will every day ticket lake in the country till t leas the end of April.

I was up there last year and the food truck wasnt open. As for deliveries your quite a way out from anywhere so not to sure about that. Best to check maps and see if anything is close by. What lake you thinking of going for?
There isn't anything close by for takeaways or even delivery,Oundle is there nearest small market town but there's not much there apart from a posh private school posh people a few pubs and a chippy so best taking your own

You can get Indian, kebabs, pizzas etc delivered. Not sure about Chinese, only ever had kebab and pizzas. The facebook page should tell you whether the mobile café is open

My mate was a regular there . Doing tuitions etc. he eventually gave up . Every lakeside rammed to the hilt. Including mallard. If your lucky I would try and get on sand Martin. It's a lot of money. See if you can get yourself on somewhere that's booking only. Try poachers pool on the Holme fen complex you might be able to get on there if you book up early enough . Just my opinion. If not mate good luck

Don't get me wrong some cracking fish at bluebell but don't want you getting disappointed when you get down there and see the seas of anglers

Yes... And no... Depends how you look at it... Right = big carp fishing made available to the masses, good facilities etc. No = busier than Glastonbury, fish under constant massive pressure, money making machine... All about perspectives, and it's such an individualistic passtime that who's to say which is right..?

I wasn't saying they were doing anything wrong far from it. Been popping down there for over 10 years . Just saying with current situation., people are going to flock there . Wasn't long ago that it was up for sale
