I'm looking for some tip protectors.

I've had me many different ones over the years, but not been impressed with most of them.

The best ones I have used were the shimano xl, but I can't find them now, discontinued.

Any suggestions?

Gardner xl tip tops if still sell them notnsure if they do or not

I'm currently using the speero elasticated tip tops, you get a band with each one too, £9.99 each so can work out a bit expensive depending on how many rods you're doing.

Esp camo ones are good

All of them have the same problem.They tie up both sections.
I would like to have some with 2.sections with some space between.Made my own...

I use the Wychwood neoprene ones

I thought about taping 2 pipe lagging the foam ones together and using them That would keep the blanks from rubbing each other

Doesn't look carpy but will do the job
I use a slim one at the butt section and another one for the tip section + Johnson Ross Tip Protectors

That's all I use too.

I'm more concerned about butt ring protection than tip rings.

Yeah agree, I bought the Trakker 50mm butt ring protectors I think they cost about £18 for 3.

Army Andy does some (or did) that has a sleeve for rack section separating them when done up
