It seems the solar gear has gone through the roof since lockdown
Was looking at spod rods the other day. Watched the one I was after and it went second hand for £30 more than I could buy it new for. Used condition. Mental.
Seen loads lately selling 2nd hand for me than it is new, baffles me

I was watching a guy on eBay selling stuff at ridiculous prices, the bids go mad, he sold a crapy Diawa bedchair for £185, I had the exact bedchair about 12 yrs ago and cost me £80 brand new

Thing with ebay is they don't always pay. I've sold a few things on there where the bidding goes silly high, some have paid but some haven't, and when you offer a second chance to the next bidder they never take it either

I was changing my luggage to speero so sold my camolite stuff,sold my bucket carryall for £75, loads of of other bits..paid for my speero luggage and a healthy bit left over.
I bought a job lot last year and there was 3 sets of korda krimps, sold all 3 through Facebook for £35 and could of sold them for more 10 times over,people were going mad for them..put a pair of wychwood ones on ebay and they went for £35 too.

A lot of money laundering going on on Ebay at the moment !!!!!
Anyone noticed an increase in suspicious activity on eBay? I've sold the odd thing for years and never a problem.
But I've listed some rods and I've had to cancel three orders now due to suspicious buyers, paypal holding funds and classifying the transaction as 'high risk', storage container delivery addresses, foreign delivery addresses, buyers offering to pay over the odds etc. Maybe I've just been unlucky.

Sold an IPhone 7 recently and about 4 weeks after I had a message to say it was faulty and kept switching off. I initially refused the refund but eBay forced me into it. The buyer returned the phone and now it won't charge. Filed a complaint with eBay and nothing. It is a shame a once great site has now become a place for scammmers and con artists with everything in the buyers favour.
Made what people will pay for stuff though.

Our business has been trading on eBay for about 6 years now and this last couple of weeks we've had a ridiculous amount of people buying then instantly cancelling the order after making payments. Something fishy going on and as a seller we still have to pick up fees via PayPal. Makes my pisk boil.
