Anyone ever seen any evidence of carp in there?

No but surely there in there. Doesn't it say on the signage around the res that it was stocked with fish?

Yes there is. One or two or more surprises in there too, not that the webbed fingered locals will like you knowing.

It's like the film Deliverance in that part of Somerset.

I live a stones throw from the rez and have walked it 1000s of times and never seen a carp ..
Approx 200 mirors were stocked by Bristol Water in 1978 and none gave been caught .
Lots of stories about carp being caught but i won't believe it until I see photo evidence

Shame mate, seen a few nice fish in there when we've been to the boot sale.
