Stil same mate,tbh not seen a thinking angler on There in time I've fished it . It's just ‘spot fishing' map swims with blocks n boat when it's quiet ya catch, most chuck an hope and fluke
A few in spring before weeds up then that's it, haha ended up with 30ish out back first year and about 18 from front, big c should be around 39/40 they are stacking it on. Regulars don't know what they got but can't use it as a main water anymore just one of them

Just don't get the freedom feeling down there mate. Nice couple of lakes but not ‘wild' enough not for me personally anyway. Fish it well make sure your always presented you can have a couple most mornings. Fish are mint n all

all the pits around Baston and Langtoft have lost large numbers of fish due to the otters.My son used to fish Baston and fish of 30 & 40lbs were being found ottered on the banks...

they still losing fish in baston and there are plenty of swan / goose carcasses in there probably the victim of predation as well. I would be surprised if there wasn't a problem on fourways as I was showed evidence of otters being on the ski lakes behind there 10 years ago

My son fished the Low Level a couple of years ago and they were losing a lot of the old english carp out of there to otters.
