Anyone know what's going on with the above? Becoming harder and harder to track down. Got hold of some squid addarome but not the same at all.

Nash still do the Squid EEE's but you have to go to them direct - I was quoted £44.00 but they didn't specific for how much!
I use Essential Squidstim in its place

Good shout Bristol. My mate knows Gary but he's keeping his squid powder to himself! for £44 direct I'd want a kilo. Is the Squidstim similar to nashy's one? If it's just addarome then I'll pass as I have some of that.

I dealt with Max Hendry via email mate - I was quoted litre prices for a lot of their old favours so I would imagine it is for a kg of powdered additive.
From memory the Squidstim isn't the same as the Nashy stuff, its certainly pokey and works a treat in my Solar S&O/ John Baker Plum hookbaits!

Cheers for the info. If I can get a kilo for that price I might go for it. It was £22 a tub for 200g when I last bought some. A very effective additive when coupled with the red liver and scopex. Have sourced the flavours from Catchit Labs but the powder is proving more difficult. I'll try emailing them.

According to Bayes interview on the Carp Cast - the company doesn't make it anymore so Bayes bought the 'recipe' for the squid powder to make it in house.

I wish I'd pursued it now - let me know how you get on if you do follow it up.
I use Catchit for some of my other flavours...a couple in particular are VERY good

I hope the red liver and scopex are very good. I had a small sample of scopex before but difficult to tell with a 5mil bottle if it's any good. Got 50mil coming to test it properly. Typical that it's now tricky to get squid powder.

Does this not suit requirements?
https://www.bacarelexpress.co.uk/products/0278_squid_powder.php
0278 squid powder is made using the tentacles and tails as opposed to the mantle, which although is used for the majority of seafood production, is more prone to autolysis, leading to higher levels of free amino acids and shorter peptides, notably the protein myosin. In production of 0278 Squid power, raw materials undergo processing in a manner that preserves the nutritional qualities and sensory characteristics of squid. These include the flavour, smell and protein content, whilst providing an extended shelf life of 15 months' post production and re-assured food safety when kept in cool and dry conditions. Full product specification is available including amino acid profiles.

Think that's addarome. Good quality no doubt as all Baracell stuff is but the Nash one is unique. As I understand it there's no actual squid in it, it's a synthetic product made from organic acids on a talin base. Managed to source the last 8 pots Johnson Ross had so I'm sorted for a little while.

That's definitely not addarome squid, which is another synthetic product based on talin. No squid in it at all.

Thanks Christian. A natural product then. It's confusing as there are so many "squid" type products out there. Got some addarome the other day but I have no confidence in it. No smell to it, just a white odourless powder. How can that be squid?

What's the stuff that feedstim have, Addarome?
Edit: it's described as addarome, squid flavour and aroma.
