Dont know what they are called, I know Nash did one years ago.
What I am talking about is the pole things that connect like a roach pole that you use in a boat for feel the bottom of the lake.
Who sells them? What are they called? Any links anywhere?
Come OG you must know

Nash and Cygnet do them , both pretty expensive for what they are . Carp Spirit do a much cheaper version but not on sale in the UK , Pecheur.com or Athleteshop sell them , but they sell out verry quickly when they get them in.

Prodding Stick . Jusst seen Johnson Ross have the Carp Spirit on in stock atm. 30 squid cheaper than the new Cygnet one.
Not worth investing in the dearer ones imo as my last one went over the side when my mate was using it , never to see the light of day again..

Drain cleaning rods are a far cheaper way of doing the same job

I thought that too but found they weren't stiff enough for the job , the ones i had were way too bendy. (might have just been my set tho).

Lengths of 20mm plastic conduit with connectors on each end are what you want. It's about £2 per 3m length and male female couplers are around 70p each.

Yes they stay tight. I use a plastic weld compound to attach the adapters to the ends.
I also put a little expanding foam at both ends of each length incase you drop one in.

Found them thanks, dont want to glue them, I could glue a coupler on a 2 metre length then I would want another 2 metre length cut in half with a coupler on giving me 2, 3, or 4 metre pole.
Are they tight enough not glued to stay together?
Dont forget they could go in clay, mud, deep silt etc.
Arent the adapters for connecting boxes not pipe to pipe?
