has anyone purchased this yet? what's your verdict?

Hi.
Got one last week and tried it overnight at local lake.
Total weight ok for me, 10kg all in bag.
Pretty quick to set up about 4 minutes with front on, pegs, no groundsheet as barely use one.
Material doesn't feel thick as on my DJS ABS brolly but not saying is worst as both looked similar after a wet and windy night, rain just beads off but in some places it looked like it started to soak in.
Same with mesh on doors and vents, feels thin but I won't judge it yet.
Also fair bit of condensation inside which I found on my 3 previous shelters which I think only winterskin might stop.
It felt spacious inside for me, especially the headroom I'm only 6ft but still plenty of space between my head and roof siting on bedchair.
Also enough space for bag on each of the bedchair.
Love the peak as you can have the door open letterbox style and have air coming into bivvy when it rains.
On my old chub s plus bivvy when it rained I had to close the door put a bucket on floor so I could have some air coming in and also I couldnt see through clear door.
No rod straps but you can rest it on peak poles.
After only 1night in it for me this bivvy a cheaper version of tempest although I never had one but maybe in future.
It is quick to erect, easy to put down, spacious enough, very good height, with vents (maybe not this time of the year).
It cost me £225 so I think average but only time will tell if I should save more money and get the tempest or titan but problem is without seeing it with your own eyes is hard to say that is better than other.
Only wish it could attract more Lovely Carp.

Nice one fella. is the peak and on top of the bivvy flat, ie is it possible for pockets of rain to build up on that bit?

Top of the bivvy is not really flat, peak seems more but I was set up on uneven ground so don't take word for it.
Might be possible to some point I was shaking it off every now and then as I could see droplets getting bigger from my bedchair but there weren't puddles.
It didn't leak but like you might suggest I also don't like the idea of rain collecting above me.
Night was very wet and windy and I felt pretty safe in it.
As I said I only did 1 night in it 14 hours so I don't want to judge it yet.
Not sure that answered your question but the choice is tough if you want to buy a new shelter that will fully satisfy you.

not in any rush to get a new one as using the 2 man over the winter. keep us posted if you use it again. Cheers.

Will try it soon hopefully and we'll see if I am gonna invest in wrap as one thing I hate is condensation.

Just got set for the second night in mine and got problem with right hand side velcro strap that holds the peak to stay in place as it looks like is to stretched.
Also the middle pole looks bit loose.
Not sure if mine is faulty.
Will try to play with it tomorrow if no rain, maybe even take pictures and send them to jrc and see what they say.

Theres someone on the anglers forum who has slated his saying it is absolute rubbish and is falling apart. He is taking his back for a refund.

Why can't they make a decent bivvy that doesn't cost over 500 quid.
I was going to buy this next week I don't think I'll bother tbh. save for an aqua lol.

Too early to judge, but it is a familiar story, poor design or materials used, initial first batch from China faulty who knows.

Hi, but he said he would keep it, if front zip panel, in wasn't 10cm short.
So Absolute Rubbish ?
Wish him well, if he buys a Supa Brolly, mind or anything else, whatever price, you seem to need it.
Can imagine multi point contact with floor, compared to say 2 point contact (pramhood), will be more awkward with uneven floor.
