Any thoughts on these avid systems and is this really a good deal, as seems it to be ....I can't find the heated mattress anywhere though just for the benchmark ones not the lite, so if anyone has a link would be great....

Outlaw pro have the standard heated mattress in stock. It's the 1 I have on my avid compact 5 season system. So will fit the bedchair your showing.

I brought one of them, used it last weekend (not really needed as was a fairly mild one but wanted to play with it!). Surprised how good they are, imagine when it's colder the benefits will be more noticable. Had to turn it off part way through the night though, felt like I'd peed myself with it being so warm in the mid section

no idea but I would imaging if you turned it on for half an hour before jumping in bed it would really be cosy then turn it off
if you did happen to get cold in the night or after maybe getting up for a pee or fish you could switch it back on for a short while again sounds idea to me dont think I would want to go to sleep with it on all night would sweat like a rapist

They don't heat up that quick gerry, we'll mine don't. They are ok when left to heat up a while.But also don't hold their heat that much when switched off.

I remember a few years back me and.my mate bought electric heated gloves

I don't have a mattress, but the Avid heated sleeping bag , I love it
During the summer is use 1 season Duralite bag/cover when needed, the rest of the year Duralite 3 season bag and for the winter now the Avid heated bag, should have bought the Avid bag much sooner
Solar Sp c-tech bed has now returned to the shop, I will stick with my Duralite setup, I was not satisfied with the Avid beds/sleep systems, but I do recommend the heated sleeping bag

Yes Fox Duralite and alot lighter then the Flatliner, bed is 8.6 kg, the 1/3/5 season bags are also top (not have the 5season becouse i decide to get the Avid heated bag) , I find it more comfortable than the solar CH08/Sp c-tec, Avid beds, Nash beds and the Trakke oval levelite v2 (and yes I have had them all)
Most sleep systems you sleep directly on the mattress, the Duralite has a real sleeping bag that you lie in, the difference being that you can zip the sleeping bag on the bed so that it always lies nicely on it.
I do not recommend the Duralite if you are taller than 175cm and +90kg because then it will be too tight

U think my for flatliner cover would fit on this system as it's ideal if it get colder and can be easily added/removed, and wasn't cheap ....so I would like to keep it if I can and just sell the bed/sleep system...(anyone after one)....
Also what's the benefits of the sleeping bag over a “sleep system”, is it just you can easily remove a sleeping bag and wash it ...???...am tempted with the duralite must say ???
Also and last one I promise , what's he real difference with the 3 to 5 season bags , is there much difference really ..??

I have the Fox Vrs cover, the Duralite bed also has velcro at the bottom of the mattress to attach the cover.
The Duralite sleeping bags are a sleeping bag and sleep system in one, a normal sleeping bag is never 100% properly secured, you put the flap at the top and bottom over the bedchair and in the middle with a strap
With a sleep system you lie directly on the mattress and you only have the top part of the sleeping bag that you zip onto the mattress
With the Duralite you have a 2 in 1 system, a complete sleeping bag (bottom and top) and a zipper that you zip over the entire bedchair so that the sleeping bag fits perfectly anywhere on the bed without it being able to shift from place
The Duralite 3 season bag is too warm once it is +14/15 degrees at night, the Duralite 1 season bag is then ideal, when you still have a night where it is a bit too cold you can still use the cover.
The Duralite 5 season bag is a damm warm sleeping bag even with the 3 season + cover you can do most nights in winter.
-1 season duralite bag: no fleece (ideal for summer)
-3 season duralite bag: only fleece on the bottom part above/below, the middle part is without fleece
-5 season duralite bag: full fleece

Slept in it for 2 nights and sold it, i keep my Duralite setup, In terms of Build Quality the Solar is one of the best beds on the market but I find my Duralite more comfortable to lie on.
Now this is purely personal and there are also those who do not like the duralite, if the solar Sp-ctech/Ch08 fits well for you then you have a top build bed, but I wouldn't buy it as a sleep system, just the bed with a different brand of sleeping bag

I'm 6ft and found the duralite quite short and the sleep system very restrictive,sold it after two uses and the end legs are rubbish as they don't lock into place like on the flatliter

Realistically there's not much point getting recommendations from others about beds, as we all find different things comfortable. You'd be better off going to one of the larger shops, or one of the angling shows and having a lay on them for yourself. What one person finds comfortable,another will hate.
