Just wondering whether anyone here has bought a Tempest Social Cap and what do you think of them?
I recently bought the Frontier XD but I wanted a Tempest 150 for this feature.
Do we think that Fox will bring these out for the Frontier Range?

I've got one for my tempest 100t I actually really like it. I don't take it on my normal fortnightly 48/72hr sessions but I use it for the week long ones I do 3/4 times a year, I will take it to France with me and when my daughter comes with me which isn't very often but handy to have when she does saves me having to buy 2 different bivvies.
Very very easy to set up and goes down again with same ease, only been used 3 times this year so far but from what I've seen and used of it I really like it.

They look amazing. The number of times I've propped up my wavelock umbrella against my old Nash MK3 Double Top because it's unbearable in the heat - this looks a perfect solution. That said, much better ventilation on the XD than the DT so the problem might not be as acute. Won't stop me buying one however.

used mine a couple of times now, and to be fair, I can't fault it, gives a great space to cook in and also store gear without cluttering up the bivvy itself... wouldn't use it on my overnighters but for a weekend session I'd add it as it is so quick to put up and take down...

Great piece of kit for longer sessions. Just beware they don't come with front panel. You have to use the front panel from the tempest.

It's all hypothetical at the minute, it depends what Fox do, that said the Frontier appears to be a success, so I'm hoping they do one, eventually 🤞

True but the it's not just the velcro is it, different sizes also, what you gonna do take a pair of scissors to it aswell? For that kind of money I'd want a good fit. Hopefully they will bring one out.

Was talking about this with a mate the other week, he had the social cap on his tempest, great addition for those longer sessions

No signs of any new social cap for the frontier bivvy's in the new release from fox today that they have just advertised
