Is it worth paying the extra for the Txi d? Anything else you get with txi d that you don't with ev d?

you can't alter the beep speed on the ev-d. apart from that it's up to you on the reciever really..obviously digital now so no interference....

If you can afford to, go for the txis, you will only get a few months down the line and wish you'd got them in the first place, then lose money selling the Evs and buying TXIs anyway. Unless you are 100% you don't want a receiver and never will, sure someone on here recently said the evs can't have receiver dongles etc added to them

I was hoping that you could but can't find a definite answer

yeah that's what I'm thinking - but tbf not really sure i need a receiver. Never ever far from my rods - only helping out mates in the next swim occasionally - am sure ev d would be loud enough in that instance.

I use mine when i fish overnight mainly, can have the heads turned down really low, and just have the receiver in the shelter with me. Doesnt disturb or alert anyone else then. Id rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. You could always buy the txds, without a receiver, than add it later if you decide you want one

Do you fish nights mate? If so get the txi-ds your regret buying the ev, good for days only but can't use them during the night well you can but your need them load enough your end up waking up the whole lake lol

In fairness I'm quite a light sleeper but am leaning towards the txi d at the minute

Still a risk tho mate and you could end up losing some of your gear or worse not getting to the rods in time for a fish to take themselves into a snag. Personally preference but if it was me I'd for for the txi mate

they've saved me a small fortune in the last 3 months mate,cheapest on nearly everything, great prices,great service...im popping in the shop end of April as I'm off to norton disney for a weekend socially distanced social..take some cash with me.

great alarms and i dont need a reciever.... i do nights and sleep next to my rods...

Got a set of 3 new for £140ish posted - just look for the 20% discount vouchers on ebay and there are a few tackle suppliers participating in these,....
