Hi guys got a £50 Amazon voucher from work. Gonna put it towards some waders, are vass as good as people say? Or trakker or other companies looking for recommendations cheers chaps

Vass are as good bud and the best, others will still do the job tho mate so don't be out off. I got some vass ones but I've had Trakker and other brands like fox aswell they will all do the job for you mate

Have a look at PRO S waders. Very reasonably priced and get pretty good reviews. I have a pair I used for most of last season. So far so good.

Thanks guys, am hoping the sizings aren't small I'm a 12 in a shoe but I'm a large bloke so hopefully they fit

Well made,easy to get on,comfortable if wearing for a while and of course have the carpy yellow straps for catch pics

I can't stand that tho so won't be wearing them for pics 😂😂 a couple of the lakes I fish have shallow bays that the carp like to get in. But landing them from the bank when the water is down is almost impossible as for 15-20 yds out it's less than a ft deep then drops down a little. And I'm joining a club where you have to do a couple of work parties to get a night ticket so waders will come in handy

I got a size 12, I'm 6ft 3, 16 and a half stone they fit me fine bud with a lot of room left

Ok, mine are 7 years old and still do everything the Vass seem to do. Would be interesting to see how long the Vass last.

Liverpool waders “Fishfarm Pro” are the best I've used. Had nine years from my current pair and they've been battered and abused on countless work parties during that time, only just need replacing now.

I'm pretty sure you would be fine mate, I'm sure there is a certain pair of vass waders that the size 12 is made for bigger lads like us mate

I used to be huge bud I was almost 25 stone at one point so don't worry I no how it feels, I did get down to about 15stone n a half but didn't feel happy at that

Same mate at 19 I weighed 25st on the button, became a chef and shed a load but couldn't get any lower than high 17st naturally a big bloke
