I don't find that a problem myself.
Posting a photo is not that hard once you know how. The only problem is trying to explain it to others, if someone was in the same room as another they'd pick it up quickly.
What I find funny is many of us oldens seem to have the upper hand over the youngens who seem to be stumped unless their phone can do it for them

Start with a hosting site, imgbb seems OK and is a doddle to share from.
When you have uploaded the pics to the hosting site you have options to share, select html full image
Before the final > add width=500 or the mods will delete it

ha ha I never noticed that the 'HTML Image' option does it all for you, I'm still using the 'direct links' option and typing the 'img src=' bit myself

It's even easier if you use the 'html medium linked' option as long as you resize the image on upload, you don't have to do the width bit that way

It would mean the photos would have to be stored on the forum server and that would be have to be colossal, the only people that can afford that is the Facebooks of this world.

I can upload photos directly with one click from my phone or Comp to carp.com
Its so easy , most other sites are compared to this one , but i believe the owner doesn't want lots of pics so has kept this in the dark ages

I'm only on one other forum, a trade one, and you upload pictures straight from your gallery on there. To be honest this forum is very antiquated compared with it in general.

Im on another fishing forum and can upload straight from my phone gallery to it.

to be fair I think its very easy uploading pics 
there is a simple guide on this forum how to do it
