I brought a pair of the new delkim txi D's alarms. I find them a great alarm. I've only used them about 7 times but love them. I've always used delkim alarms. I see a lot of people are selling the new delkims. To me it seems a bit strange. Thay spend all that money on them. Then thay sell them saying only been used a handful of times looking for other alarms. In about 25 years or so of using delkim alarms I've only ever had one start to go wrong when it got damp/wet and it was 15 years old and used a lot. So like anything that gets old that will start to go wrong. what your guys thort on them

what sort of money are they going for 2nd hand?

I was looking at replacing a set of the older ones that I sold a couple of years ago (I was wearing my stupid head at the time ) I think the new ones are a bit over the top with all the features and I do like a gadget, I picked up a good set of TXI Plus from the bay and they work fine

I've seen sets of 3 and receiver for around £400 to £450 witch int bad as I paid £500 for a set of 3 and receiver and that was with £50 nocked of the price

everyone seems to be screaming about the Nevil and fox alarms but I really can't see what all the hype is about those alarms.

Fox, yeah, well made, I like em too, but Nevs....Mmmm I don't know, never had them

I chopped and changed top end alarms. That was until I bought Nevs a few years back...

i paid 465 for 3 and a receiver so wouldnt loose too much money if I sold on

I got rid of my txid purely because I'm too lazy to read or watch instructions had some good features but went back to the ntxr for simplicity.if I was to nit pick myself personally didn't like the look preferred the plus but dont see this as slagging them off just my personal preference. I sold mine 3 and reciever for 420 but I git a good deal off my pal who owned a shop at the time so only lost a few pounds

Completely agree with this, there are so many features that I find myself logging on to the app to double check every time I use them! Granted I have only been out a few times since purchasing but did debate going back to the TXIs for this very reason. I'm sure I will get used to them though and I cba with the hassle of buying more etc

How are you finding the new TXI? I am interested in upgrading my alarms to the new d's but not if they are a hassle to use.

Are there any better deals than what Kent tackle are offering?

Iv had nothing but problems with the new receiver. Sent it back once as it stopped picking up the alarms and had to send it back again as when I got it back the speaker would crackle and the battery needed changing after a weekends use.

They have now replaced it which I should get back in the next day or so which is OK but I really wish I would have kept my old taxi's.

That's the best deal I've seen so far, the good deal on fishernator seems to have ended.
