Finished it, started Saturday morning finished Saturday Night pretty gruesome viewing, very far fetched in places but still an enjoyable watch.

I've watched it and enjoyed it but I must say some of the acting was a bit ropey, the bloke who played Frankie Fraser was good and the scene he did playing darts was something I will not forget.
Not a classic but worth watching.

edit - well I'm hooked. Watched the 1st 3 episodes one after another until my body said 'go to sleep you muppet'

Not something I would normally watch and now I know why, just watched first half hour and deleted the rest.
Looks like is been written by some guardian reader who has watched the godfather too many times.

I really liked it.
I mean I don't for one second think it's real, but that said, neither is avengers Endgame and that was fun too

I don't think it the best thing I've seen however it's not the worst either. Some of the acting is ropey yes. But they make up for it with some good fight scenes. The gun fights are well shot if you can forgive the endless magazines that some people have. There are some continuity errors which pissed me off and a lot of story lines to manage. But otherwise its OK just for the fights and shoot em ups.
It's not gonna win many awards but it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Not sure what I was expecting really but a few people I know had watched it and I thought I would have a look.
20 minutes in a geezer gets punched in the ribs and is breathing out of his arse next minute he's ironing out half a dozen Albanian gangsters like a ****ing whirlwind !

Got to agree, Mrs started the series this week and i just about made it through the first episode. Thought I was watching some 1970's martial arts film versus killing Bill!
Absolute rubbish plot line, middle class views of what the Guardian has told them gangs are like, racial and cultural stereotypes and won't be watching again. The Mrs loves it apart from the violence, work that one out.
It should be titled "I cant use any imagination and stereotype the gangs of London". Wont be watching any more this!

Yep......Loved it.
Best thing I,ve seen for a while.Better than watching the kids play Grand theft Auto on XBox.
There is an old series of Jack Hargreaves "Gone fishing " coming out soon which should suit you guys better.

Well impressed with the body count , best thing I've seen if you like blood and gore .
Makes peaky blinders look like a tea party .
Hope they do season 2 as it was left with a ending which points to the mother kicking serious arse with her son who was shot in the head but obviously not dead as he's out of Peaky blinders .
And it seems finns bit on the side has most of the poppy 👍
