Although mega machines the rt4 are we went down the uk bespoke bait boat route and would not look back👍👍

Just avin a think and we pondered this for 2 years and plumbed for the ukbsb
Having used it now for a couple of years it's a thing of quality superb boat no issues and feels the real deal, I've had anatec, viper,micro,and plenty of others.
Cant see why u would go for the Dutch boat over this.

UKBB quality but massive boats.
RT4 best combo for me...but then I am bias as I've owned one of these for over 6 yrs now.

Being at home I've been cleaning cars, bboats, rods, reels guns,garden,paving,shed,drive, dogs and everything else but the ukbbb is on another level, its mega 😀

The main selling point for me with the RT4 was the Raymarine Dragonly echo sounder and the autopilot/mapping functions, not sure what the UKBB specs they do?

Rt4 and ukbbs look to be the top end of the tree
It's going to come down as to what suits you at the time.
I would be good with both but the uk just edged it at the time and now it's well used its top draw and a good buy.
One of our lot just bought an all singing and dancing rt4 that landed yesterday so it's all good, hes mossborough shoot on the rt4 fb page by the way.

All UK made aswell,I never thought I would ever want a baitboat but I can see the benefits.I might drop them a message for a price on the sb3.Only problem with me is if I had one I would want all the gadgets

Size is the major one and weight
If you are fishing big open lakes and need a lot of bait out in one go and you aren't worried about transporting the boat then UKBB is a good option.
For everything though including all venues the RT4 which will cope with everything you throw at it

I sent ukbb a email over a year ago to see if he could fit a echo (raymarine) to my RT4 and I'm still waiting for a reply 
Carplounge's customer service is very good, they have a UK helpline and also respond to emails, there is also the Facebook group that is very helpful and as mentioned the 3 year 'return to base' warranty, and that's before you even take into account how good their autopilot system is, no brainer for me.
Its strange to think that Angling Technics were the leaders in Bait Boats for many years ,and now they are so far behind its hard to see them now ,right at the back of the que

Their customer service was always questionable as was the quality of workmanship and parts in the plastic tubs.
UKBB and Carptechnics are the UK leaders these days for sure.

I have one of the newer Anatec Catamaran boats with the brushless motors and lithium batteries. Bought from Baitboats.net with the Toslon TF640 GPS & Sonar modules (No Autopilot) and came in just over £2k.
Used it just before all the COVID lockdowns in really choppy water and it had no trouble at all. I did look at the Carplounge boats but a lad on my water has one and it has been giving him issues for ages and he has to keep posting it for repairs (am sure he said to Germany but not 100% sure). The attraction of the Anatec is I can take the lid off and get to all parts easily and Baitboats.net have been great in answering questions and helping configure it and being in the UK I am not concerned regarding warranty.
Doesn't look as fancy as the RT4 but does everything I could ever need and built like a tank. Just to note, it is a massive boat so definatley for use on a barrow unlike my older Waverunner SPort which fit in a rucksack but struggled with choppy waters.

I also have the Anatec Catamaran boat with Lowrance fish finder the older version, downside its massive and was thinking of selling and getting something smaller but Ive had it out in horrendous weather as do a lot of winter piking, must admit if I sell the SB4 is tempting me due to size,

My sb4 lasted a full week in France taking all 3 rods 120yard twice a day plus another 12 times after fish. It still had plenty of charge left in it at the end of the week aswell. I have the pro x version

Just looked on their site and they say battery life is 1.50 to 2 hours runtime. Also do they do ones with twin hopper release systems.

That sb4 looks a right bit of kit compact and quality.
Could even book that on as sports luggage when we fly France, used to do that with an atom but you needed about 10 batteries for that
Says its only 44cm long, wow that's compact.
My uk has the 640 and loads of other bits but I don't always use that lot as I'm fishing to features.

It fits perfectly into a trakker nxg cooler bag. It's a brilliant little boat. I bought it for smaller waters and I was using a waverunner with the toslon tf640 for the bigger waters. But got rid of that as the sb4 can deal with choppy waters fairly well. It's just a little slower when it's really choppy.

That is the only downside I have found. It is massive but I assume that is what makes it so stable. There is a video online of someone driving it in the sea with no problems.
The lithium batteries are giving me around 2.5 hours use and that is with the Toslon 640 also connected to them.
