I'm looking at braided mainlines I've been using mono for ever but my fishing has taken me in a completely different direction over the last few years and I'm finding I'm fishing at More extreme distances and in snag and obstacle infested waters so I'm looking at the switch up I need a low diameter strong reliable braid that doesn't cost the earth (asking very little of you guys😂😂 
not so bothered on the casting side of its performance as the majority of the fishing will be done by boat I'm also not bothered if it's a carp brand I'm well aware there's as good if not better products available from different sectors of the sport recommendations below thanks.

Spiderwire 8 strand? 19.99 for 300m at a lot of places.
Really good braid even though the diameter ratings are a bit suspect.
0.25mm for 60lb test if I remember right.

Depends if you want a sinking braid tbh , if your not bothered then 40lb power pro is superb , or Gardner hydro sink 22lb which is the best braid I've ever used for carping .

Seriously glad I went with the 22lb gardner hydro sink now over the 15lb.. cast 35.5 wraps easily.. got the 40lb fox submerge on the 3rd rod that casts just as well.. I was thinking I would only just be getting over 100yrds .. happy customer here

Powerpro - best braid on the market. I've used it for 20 years and continue to use it. I buy it by diameter, not breaking strain. But be warned, you should not use braid when carp fishing amongst snags! It is not very abrasion resistant and despite the higher breaking strains and lower diameters, it will end in tears. Stick to mono if there's snags or heavy weed or use a suitable leader with the braided mainline.
BTW chaps, there are only a handful of worldwide manufacturers who make braided fibres used to construct fishing lines - quite a few tackle companies are selling you the same lines, but branded differently and with some very colourful claims on its properties I might add.

in snag and obstacle infested waters braid is completely useless in snags its got zero abrasion resistance it just needs to touch a rock or shell and its gone so you will have to use a strong mono leader if your boating it out I would go for min 30lb with a min 25lb leader

I think Gardner are being a bit cheeky though giving us the correct breaking strain for diameter on their hydro sink. I am sure it won't catch on.
