Just seen on instagram that the black mk2 safeliners are now being shipped to the shops.

I remember a few of you asking about them a while back when the stainless ones were released. So I thought I'd give you the heads up.

And very nice they are too. Heavier bodies, chains instead of cords and two different sized weights in each kit.

ye, they would tbh ive been having a play with some stainless and black springer arms 💡quite liking the stainless and black combo...

There's also now a video on instagram showing the new black excavators. These things are beasts. There's not much ground they won't go into. I've seen them screwed into concrete.

You know black and stainless is the one Andy. Give in. Resistance is futile. This is my set up, but I'm also going to get the nice people at jag to change my thumb screws and cam locks to green.

I'm also thinking that stainless snag bars on black would match in looooovely.

Just bumping this old thread up. I was looking at a set of the black Safeliners MK2 but have heard a few stories of the black coating rubbing off easily....?

There's a set on eBay at the moment with what looks like that problem on one of the ends that screws into the hockey stick / buzzbar , I understand they are coated stainless steel.Im currently looking for a set of MK1 prolite safeliners , but they don't seem to come up very often.

I'm pretty sure if someone buys a set of black safeliners, has proof of purchase and has an issue, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I'd be amazed if jag wouldn't look into it for you.

I've had no issues with mine, and mine are a very early set so they've been kicking around a while. I'm trying to imagine what you'd need to do to rub the coating off? They swing about in mid air most of the time.

Putting the weights on/off, could also rub whilst in storage

I've currently got/had a problem with my 2+1 bars and tbh they have been very good.cant fault the customer service

on friday on the canal,went to adjust the front right side bar,it wouldnt tighten up and fell out the end,nearly fell on the drink...after an hour of asking and begging I eventually got an allen key to fit the bolt of the thumb screw,but that was tight....I took it all apart,put it back together and it seems fine now,but they cant work out why it's done it and although it seems fine now they're sending out a replacement thumb screw kit and a pre paid envelope to return the faulty one back to them so they can look at it.
I was going to buy a set of the blue thumb screws but I'll wait now see what comes of this...must admit I was really stressed at the thought of the trip being wasted on friday night but a canal beater cane to the rescue with a set of allen keys.
