Luckily it only seems it was one smaller batch of the SLK. Could have been a lot worse! We make it in 400 bottle batches now and have made quite a few batches of SLK since with no problems. Joys of production eh!

I don't think you can 'pull the end off it' in Anne Summers anymore...

I bought a bottle yesterday. It's nowhere near as bad as previous... A slow release of pressure is needed though. There's a visible build-up of pressure, the bottle swells at the top collar. I fear the inside of my shed will be decorated like an old Mr Bean scene.

... but it did make a mess all over their display stand.
I had a similar, very embarrassing, moment in Ann Summers a few years back

. Wish I'd opened mine in the shop - wouldn't have needed to clean it all up then! New bottle came today - really good service from DNA. Went outside and opened it just in case but no issues at all

I opened a lid of the SLK to smell in my local tackle shop the other day. It wasn't as violent as you describe but it did make a mess all over their display stand.

Hi Darren, I'm sure someone will be in touch today if you've already contacted us. The guys will get a replacement sent out ASAP. As mentioned we have identified a dodgy batch of SLK although not all of it seems to be as active as the one you've obviously had! Sorry about that!

Saw on Facebook that they had a dodgy batch of SLK smoke. If you contact them they will replace it
