You'll find the corn syrup in most oriental grocers.

Just putting together the ingredients for the tigers. Is the high fructose corn syrup banned in the UK?

All I can get is the golden syrup type stuff?

Hi Mark,
I’ve just found a pot of GPB1 baits that I mislaid last year, will these be ok to use later this year ( not too late hopefully!) ?

Great stuff Barry, they look good!

A bit of liquid flavour/hydro into that gelatine, just not to much to stop the gelatine from setting. I bet you can get quite a bit of liquid into it though, without any problems.

Thanks Mark, I'll leave them in the cupboard, not like I'm in a rush to get out..

While I was doing it i thought I could add pretty much anything to the gelatine mixture, I'll experiment further next time.

These were some seasoning, betaine and pdfm.

These were the same but with added crayfish powder which gives them a coarser finish, it was my last batch and i was a bit low on powder so they aren't covered quite as well.

I thought it was you mate. We had someone order a shed load of S3 as a special order yesterday, 66 tubs of various colours. So we'll have some in dark red, pink and yellow, as well as the whites now mate.

Hi Gregg, was it you I spoke to about this via text the other day? I know I spoke to someone about white S3's.

They will dry fine Barry, just keep them somewhere away from kitchen/bathroom steam/moisture, so they fully dry out. They will look dry mate, but then when you put them into a tub and do up the lid... The coating will become soft and gooey again after a couple of days if they are not dried out properly. They really need thoroughly drying out for a long period. If not using a radiator I'd leave them out drying for 7-10 days at least in that cupboard. When I used to make them for myself on the radiator... I would leave them for at least 48 hours with the radiator on all day long both days.

I've been sent loads of photos over the past couple of days from anglers who have made some up like you. A Stoneacres angler sent me a bunch of photos of his, they looked the ********. He had added flavours to the gelatine as well, which is something I never tried myself.

You're very welcome Barry.
