Cheers. Not come across that one before but will give it a look. See how Bounty goes and then look at going again if he enjoys it enough. Regular action and a bit to do is the shopping list, but with 2 trips with him next year (July all family down near Limoges) I'm concerned it may be too much

Sounds ideal, lots of facilities being a camp site too, win win. Iirc there's plenty to see round there for days out. The wife just put me right on why we never went to bounty, the week we wanted had a big race meet on nearby and John said it would be very busy so we ended up at Lac Le Curie*
2 trips

*which as it happened was a great alternative and I'm looking to go back. Another ideal venue for you I reckon, there was a dad & son on Orchard iirc they had a great time judging by the alarms.

Thank you. Just booked it for next Easter, just going over with me and the boy. They are doing away with the caravan option next year apparently but they offered some gear hire which we will take them up on to save how much we need to take over. Need to confirm nearer the time which lake but I'm kind of hoping for B1 but will take the advice from them as I've neve set eyes in the place to know what is best. Got 2 French trips booked now for next year but hoping this will be fun with just the 2 of us catching a few

I know John sadly passed away a couple of years ago
Very sad to read that, used to post on here regularly.
The wife and I contacted him re fishing though life got in the way. I'd still be interested in going and would be interested in knowing how you get on.
We looked at hiring a water exclusively with a caravan at the time and John advised against exclusivity, saying the fish will just move away from you, so having other anglers on keeps them moving, if of any help

Thank you, just got hold of them via Messenger. Is it still an ideal place to take my son for a week? Always had it earmarked as an ideal place to take him and almost guarantee some action

Hi guys. Was just looking at potential lakes for a trip with my son and Bounty was always high up on the list. I know John sadly passed away a couple of years ago but I thought it was going to pretty much be business as usual but having done some searches the website is no longer active and the only active website I can find is about the camping and the le Man's packages. Has anyone been there recently and got any info on where I can find prices, packages and availability please?
