Started using AH a couple of years ago and I've really improved my catch rates after having a few years of jumping from bait to bait. The service from Baitworks is also top notch (a few times I've asked for specific delivery days just to make sure I am in to receive the freezer bait and they've never failed to do that which to me is great customer service). I have started using with a mixture of Herb and whilst this has not improved my catch rate its not hindered it either and I do like using a combo (herb is much firmer than AH)

Agreed, hydra k is a great bait.
Urban baits I would remove from your thought process.
Essential baits B5 is excellent, what I use.

Do you prefer a soft bait or a firm bait? Will you be using a throwing stick essentially or using baits out the bag on your rig?
I always prefer softer baits, but I do find B5 picks out the better fish and it's firmer, generally I get a mix, so I would get some of that and some of the hydra K.
Another good soft bait is Aqua baits Hot shrimp or red squid. You can get tubes which are cheaper if you're not worried about them being round. To be honest for baiting I think that's an edge. Just something different isn't it.

Me too. Geoff is making me a bespoke bait, as my supplier has ceased trading. It's always worth discussing where and when you're fishing with them, as they can often suggest a good bait for your circumstances. A conversation with Geoff is always an education.

ABS are excellent, Geoff and his team know their onions. Hydra K and K2, and plenty of others are superb baits. They'll roll to order too.

Used Atlantic heat for years and can't see me changing any time soon. They have sorted out their pop up mix recently too.

Atlantic Heat & Royal Marine are my go to fishmeals.

I couldn't put anyone off either. Really quality baits, IMO.

I've no idea on the Urban Baits boilies, never used them.

I have used the red spicy fish and thought it was a good bait had a few on it I don’t think it’s as popular as the nutcracker but also I hear the Atlantic heat is suppose to be good

Hi, i am looking at getting baitworks atlantic heat or urban baits red spicy fish. I'm just not sure which one to go with. What's people's opinions? Also heard abs baits roll good boilies.
Many thanks.
