Springers are probably a better option rather than bobbins, you can load the line right up I use the matrix ones for my French fishing on larger lakes especially at Rainbow on braided mainline, tips high and out to decent distances I can get them ping tight pretty sure they're equivalent to about 4oz of weight when fully loaded up.

XLarge Black & Whites maybe? 30g weights plus bobbin and heavy chain - or maybe pimp with MCF bike chains for extra weight / less side wind aggro?

or - Large Sub Bobbins (60g) plus MCF bike chains - brutal!

Off the shelf, which bobbins would you say are the heaviest? I'm after a pair for zig fishing.

Thanks!
